Parents evenings

The purpose of the evening is for you to meet your child’s teachers so you can discuss how well your child is doing in each subject. Please remember that you do not need to wait for a Parents’ Evening to speak to your child’s teachers. All of our staff can be contacted by email and they are available for meetings if required. At Parents’ Evenings we operate a queuing system so it is not necessary to make an appointment to see a specific teacher. Parents will be able to see teachers on a first come, first served basis (5 minutes with each teacher). On the evening, we would therefore recommend, that if a member of staff is particularly busy you move on and meet with another teacher and then go back later. We actively encourage all students to attend the evening with parents. Students who do attend, must attend in full academy uniform.

The event will take place across the academy with teachers seeing parents in teaching rooms. You will be provided with a map showing the location of each teacher, along with a copy of your child’s most recent scorecard. Light refreshments will be provided in Rosie's cafe.
