The Dynamix Choir continues to flourish and is now a vibrant ensemble of over 180 students, united by their passion for music, performance and representing the Academy with pride. The choir has become an integral part of school life, providing students with opportunities to develop their musical skills, build confidence and perform in a wide variety of settings.

The choir performs an exciting and diverse repertoire of contemporary and modern pop music, alongside musical theatre favourites and seasonal classics. Their energetic performances showcase the enthusiasm, commitment and talent of our students, while encouraging teamwork, creativity and outstanding musicianship.

Throughout the year, Dynamix Choir performs at many prestigious events within the Academy and the local community. Highlights include Whole School Events, the Academy Awards, Open Evenings, Parents' Evenings, School Talent Shows and the annual Christmas Community Light Switch-On, where they entertain audiences with festive favourites. The choir has also performed in local shopping centres, helping to spread festive cheer and strengthen links with the wider community.

Students regularly benefit from a range of musical enrichment opportunities, including workshops and masterclasses led by our experienced music teachers. These experiences enable students to further develop their vocal technique, musicianship and performance skills, while inspiring many to continue their musical journey through additional ensembles.

One of the most rewarding traditions for Dynamix Choir is the annual visit to local care homes each December. Students perform a selection of festive songs and traditional carols, bringing joy, comfort and a wonderful sense of community to residents and staff. These performances are always warmly received, with music creating memorable moments that often evoke smiles, laughter and heartfelt emotion. The compassion, maturity and professionalism shown by our students during these visits are a true reflection of the Academy's values and demonstrate the positive impact that music can have in bringing people together.

Whether performing on the Academy stage, within the local community or at large-scale school celebrations, Dynamix Choir continues to inspire audiences through its enthusiasm, dedication and outstanding performances. As the choir continues to grow, we look forward to creating even more memorable musical experiences while providing every member with opportunities to develop confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of music.
