Boys Football

Boys’ Football is a key part of the Kingswood Sports Academy, giving students the chance to train regularly, represent the Academy with pride and develop confidence, teamwork and resilience through competitive sport.

The Boys’ Football teams have enjoyed another phenomenal year, achieving fantastic success across all age groups. The Year 7 team finished top of the league and won the Hull Schools Trophy Final against Liberty Academy. They also won the Hull Active Schools Engagement Festival tournament and finished as runners-up in the Hull Schools seven-a-side competition. The Year 8 team finished as runners-up in the Hull Schools Cup, while the Year 9 team enjoyed an exceptional season. They finished as league runners-up, reached the semi-finals of both the Hull Schools Cup and the Humberside Schools Cup, and won the Hull Schools Vase Trophy Final against St Mary’s. They also won the Hull Active Schools Engagement Festival tournament and finished joint top of the Hull Active Schools seven-a-side competition. The Year 10 team finished third in the league and reached the semi-finals of the Hull Schools Trophy. They also secured fourth place in the Hull Schools seven-a-side competition. The commitment shown by every player has been outstanding, and it has been fantastic to see the continued development of all our teams throughout such a successful year. A huge thank you must also go to the coaches from YPD for delivering excellent training sessions that have greatly benefited our players. Their hard work, enthusiasm and dedication have played a significant part in the success of our Boys’ Football teams.
