Boys Football

Boys’ Football is a key part of the Kingswood Sports Academy, providing a clear pathway for students to train, compete and represent the Academy with pride. The programme supports players of all abilities by developing technical skill, tactical understanding, teamwork and commitment through regular training and competitive fixtures.

Boys’ Football provides students from Years 7–10 with regular opportunities to train, compete and represent Kingswood Academy in school fixtures and competitions. Through structured training and match preparation, students develop their technical ability, tactical understanding and confidence, alongside important qualities such as teamwork, discipline, commitment, communication and resilience. The programme encourages students to take pride in representing the Academy, support their teammates and continually challenge themselves to improve. Enjoyment remains central to the programme, helping students develop a lasting enthusiasm for football while experiencing the rewards and sense of belonging that come from being part of a team.

Team successes:

• Year 7: League Winners and Hull Schools Trophy winners.

• Year 8: Hull Schools Cup runners-up.

• Year 9: League runners-up, Hull Schools Vase winners and semi-finalists in both the Hull Schools Cup and Humberside Schools Cup.

• Year 10: Third in the league and Hull Schools Trophy semi-finalists.
