Lego

At Lego club, students can work as a team or individually, to create and build different types of lego sets. After school on a Monday to Thursday, students focus on complex sets with themes such as iconic architecture, famous landmarks, classic cars and transport. Students gain soft skills such as perseverance and communication when working together to complete these long term projects. Our free build sessions happen every break, lunchtime and after-school on a Friday. In these sessions, students can design and create their own projects, developing engineering skills and encouraging them to push their imagination in design.

Leaders in Lego oversee the bigger builds as a team and drive their completion, as well as assisting staff in selecting lego sets and materials that students will enjoy. Lego Leaders are responsible for the Lego area, ensuring the Lego area is tidy and the equipment is respected.

“Lego club is important to me because I often leave feeling really proud of the creations I’ve built.” Stefan

"I really enjoy coming to Lego because I can create free builds which I enjoy because I get to be creative, but I can also build bigger models like the Titanic and this is something that challenges me in a good way.” Darci
