Netball
Netball plays a central role within the Kingswood Sports Academy, giving students the opportunity to develop skill, confidence, leadership and teamwork through regular training and competitive fixtures. The programme supports players from Year 7 to Year 10 and helps students grow as both individuals and team players.
Netball provides students with the opportunity to develop their skills, confidence and understanding of the game through regular training and competitive opportunities across different year groups. Sessions focus on developing positional awareness, attacking and defending skills, movement, communication and match tactics, while also encouraging important qualities such as teamwork, commitment, resilience and discipline. Fixtures and tournaments give students valuable experience of competitive play and the opportunity to represent Kingswood Academy with pride. Enjoyment, progression and supporting one another are central to the programme, helping students grow both as netball players and as confident members of a team.
