Boys’ Rugby is a proud part of the Kingswood Sports Academy, challenging students to show commitment, discipline, respect and determination while competing successfully as a team.
The Boys’ Rugby teams have enjoyed an excellent year, demonstrating outstanding commitment and achieving success across all age groups.
The Year 7 team won the Hull Schools Trophy Final and also reached the quarter-finals of the Yorkshire Plate. The Year 8 team finished third in the league and narrowly missed out on a place in the Yorkshire Cup.
The Year 9 team had an exceptional season, winning the Hull Active Schools Trophy after defeating Winifred Holtby 16–14 in a thrilling final. They also won the Yorkshire Shield, securing an impressive 14–4 victory in the final.
The Year 10 team reached the semi-finals of the Hull Schools Trophy and progressed to the quarter-finals of the Yorkshire Shield.
The commitment shown by all our rugby players has been outstanding. Their hard work, determination and encouragement of one another have been vital to the success and continued development of every team.
