Youth Player Development Partnership

Our partnership with YPD strengthens the Kingswood Sports Academy by providing specialist coaching, high-quality training and additional opportunities for students to develop as young athletes.YPD have been an integral part of our Sports Academy and football enrichment programmes, delivering high-quality training sessions and maintaining students’ enthusiasm through tournaments, competitive activities and enjoyable games.

Their coaches help every student to develop their knowledge and understanding of football, which has contributed significantly to the success of our teams this year. YPD also deliver excellent specialist drills to support students who aspire to develop their skills as goalkeepers. We are delighted that YPD will continue their partnership with us throughout the academic year.

YPD coach Mr I Heeley says, “Youth Player Development are extremely thrilled at the new partnership formed with Lift Kingswood which will see us work closely with the Boys' and Girls' Football Academy teams across each year group. Our YPD team of coaches have already begun delivering training across all of the teams. We will look to enhance the current program that is on offer at the school, giving the pupils a stronger platform to excel within their football pathway. We strongly believe in making 'every moment count' and look forward to seeing the partnership and program grow".
