Our Open Evening provides a fantastic opportunity to meet our experienced, passionate staff from every subject area we offer. You will be able to discuss our broad curriculum directly with experts across Mathematics, English, History, Science, Food Technology, Engineering, IT, Sport, Dance, Drama and so much more! Whether you are curious about our state-of-the-art tech labs, live science demonstrations, or creative performance spaces, our teachers will be on hand to show you how outstanding teaching brings every subject to life.
At Lift Kingswood, education extends well beyond academic lessons to ensure every young person thrives. During your visit, you can meet with our dedicated SEN team to discuss tailored learning plans and accessible support, as well as our PSHE and pastoral leaders who focus on student wellbeing, mental health, and character development. You will also have the chance to speak with our specialists in careers guidance, school trips and enrichment, the Sports Academy, the Music Academy, and literacy development, giving you a complete picture of the incredible support and exciting opportunities awaiting your child.
To make this year's Open Evening truly unforgettable, we are bringing extra magic to our school with a charming Paddington theme alongside spectacular live entertainment. As you explore the site, you will be welcomed by our towering street-performing stilt walkers and have the unique opportunity to meet and greet our very special fluffy visitors, the alpacas. Coupled with Paddington-inspired activities and displays throughout the school, it promises to be a delightful event for all ages.
We also have a vast array of incredible creative talent from our very own Lift Kingswood students as they showcase their skills across the evening. Guests will enjoy show-stopping live music from our talented individual singers and the school choir, as well as the high-impact energy of the Kingswood Drumline percussion ensemble. To add to the celebration, our dynamic cheerleading squad will be delivering rhythm-filled routines that highlight the spirit, teamwork, and enthusiasm of our physical arts programs.
Our Open Evening takes place at Lift Kingswood, with ample parking available via the main entrance. We look forward to welcoming you and showing you what makes Lift Kingswood such an extraordinary place to learn and grow.
